And that is the true shame! Not Adobe, not Capture one, nobody. And to all the blaming of Apple for not further developing Aperture I'd like to add that in 5 years not one maker of professional photo software was able to create a DAM that is even remotely as intuitive or easy to handle or as fast to go with their software. Many people think it is about RAW conversion and things like that. There is a lot of misconception about Aperture - even by Apple. I'm glad I never have to set foot in another Apple Store where the Geniuses are clueless, the repair department refuses to fix things, and where the Macs are stuffed in a tiny corner of a room full of wristwatches and telephones. Harder than the Mac in some ways, easier than others. I used to taunt my Windows-using friends about viruses and ease-of-use, but in nearly two years using Windows I haven't seen any viruses or exploits, and it turns out Windows is pretty simple to use. The apps I used on the Mac are the same on Windows, and the hardware costs less and can be customized. Microsoft is another trillion dollar corporation, yes, but now I can modify and upgrade my computer. There is nothing about Apple now which appeals to me, and after using Macs for nearly 30 years I switched to a boutique PC running Windows 10 Pro. The Apple Computer which was quirky and exciting and enticed me to buy my first Mac in 1988 is dead. The Trillion Dollar Apple Corporation is alive and well.
